............ ?

Something I have always had a problem with is coming up with pretty much anything that is about me. I can negotiate payment plans, draw up forms, write various letters and thank people for donations, but I can't write a covering letter for my CV. I'm not even self-promoting here and I still can't extract anything worth a damn. So this doesn't even get a title. Ok, so I'll write about other stuff while I get used to the idea of dealing with myself in "public".

My husband, MrX, is awesome. We're coming up to our 11th anniversary shortly. He loves pasta and fortunately I make good pasta. Outside of that I'm not properly domesticated and not the best wife in the world ever.

The minions are awesome. Little dude (minion 1) and the Princess (minion 2) are 9 and 6 respectively. They have been spoiled by my being at work and too tired to deal with their crap on the floor, so now they are having to learn to start picking up after themselves from me, someone who believes that in my home, everything has its place, but for the most part, no one knows where that is. Not the best mother in the world ever.

MrX used to be a neat-freak. I think he's let that go.

Wow... been a while

So... that last job, the one with the extra time for family and so on... HA!

Would've put me in hospital from stress!

Well now we're in Cape Town and I am unemployed. It's freaking me out, but at least I get to spend the holidays with the kids... by not working at school.

Let's see how this all goes...

So, the Mac has 4% on it before it dies. ~Let's seen what we can do with that.

I have started a new job. The school bursar at my son's and soon to be daughters school. I am the accounts chick - that works better. Not a huge career move, but I get more time off and maybe we can start doing stuff as a family.

Anyway, we have our major annual fund raiser on this week, so at school I spent today doing things the bursar does and an event like this. I spent almost 14 hours counting. All day, from start to finish. In at 7.00, out at 21.00. Counting. Probably the same again tomorrow. Thursday morning starts at 4.30 am. oooh. the fun!. Let's hope I get it all right. Once you get passed the zzzzz from the early morning, then the buzz kicks in as it does at big events and everything is cool.

That learners learning!

Well here I am trying to learn and I can barely see. I've had my half a knock out, but that isn't the fun bit. The fun bit is that I made really good ginger beer the other night and it is starting to take a slightly different um... shape... than it was. Literally, it is making the 5l water bottle bulge out the bottom. And the fizz when you crack the cap - eish. But, as I said, it is becoming fun.

So I am trying to learn for my learners which I will take on Friday, the screen strated going fuzzy, but my scores are going up on the mock test questions. How odd. I hope I retain all this very clever stuff I've just developed.

Hmmm...

Well, here I am sane and drug free. Bla. I'm pretty sure I have nothing to say now.

Submission misbehaved, but now it is all doing what it is supposed to and I am a happy moo-cow. That is the most delicious submission I have ever seen for 2 reasons. #1 - I have been arguing with it for 2.5 days. #2 - this time last week I had no idea how to even do one of those and now I am very clever, having done 2. Not that it takes much, but still.

So what else has happened in the last week? I had what seemed to be a PMS filled day which caused me to be severely annoyed at my current work related situation. I was then offered another job that I can't have. I need to get into study mode, which I can't seem to do. Apparently I can't operate without a deadline. I haven't booked an exam so there is no urgency (no there isn't, do not attempt to talk sense into me).

I have taken tomorrow off to go with Mr X to renew his driver's license. I thought it would be delightful if I could book for my learners while I was there. (Yes, I am 31 with no driver's license. What?) That probably won't happen though. Oh well. I'm just so motivated these days.

Listening to: Lady Gaga. There seems to be 2 tracks of hers that I actually like and for some reason I am in the mood for. Odd. I need to go out.

The last few days...

Well. Friday started with an IRP5 sumbission that refused to balance with the certificates. They were reconcilled from many angles. They did eventually work. Yay! I can do the interim submission tomorrow. 1 X husband and I were could in a road block. Car licence expired. His licence expired. Problem. We get off lightly. Good thing as we have no money.

Saturday had me cleaning like a crazy person. Sunday we didn't go to church (no car and a desparate need to clean). After church a friend comes to our house with some cents from an anonomous benefactor at church. Enough cents to sort both licences.

Work today - well I got the IRP5 thing sorted. I made sense of an account that had many cents not making much sense.  I have other work annoyances which I will ramble about when I am not medicated for the sleepies.
